About Capstones
Construction runs on paperwork that nobody has time to read. So we taught software to read it, and to show its work.
A commercial project runs on documents. The drawings, the specifications, the submittal log, the eight months of email — the answer to most of what gets asked is somewhere in that record already.
It still takes a median of 9.7 days to answer one RFI, and about one in eight never needed asking at all. Not because the question was hard, but because finding the answer meant somebody reading a spec section they did not have time to read. Navigant Construction Forum, a study of 1,000,000 RFIs across 1,300 projects.
That is not one problem. It is the same problem showing up at four different points in a project — in the model, at the agency, in the estimate and in the field — and each time it goes uncaught, it turns up again later with a bigger number attached.
Capstones builds one tool for each of those four moments.

Narrow and right, over broad and plausible. Two of the four are live. Two are not.
FieldPE is in production against real Procore projects, and Iris reviews Florida permit sets before they are submitted. Draxler and Specflow are in development, and until they are finished their pages say exactly that instead of showing a feature list we have not built yet.If you run projects and something here sounds like your week, we would like to hear which part.
Two of the four products are still in development. If one of them is the problem you actually have, tell us — early users shape what ships.
